Artist Statement

Nature has always been my sanctuary. The woods, parks and farms of my childhood continue to give me great peace and artistic inspiration. I strive to convey this feeling of spiritual balance via my works -- be they paintings, video, installations, collages, prints, or Mail Art.

I continually explore new ways to express my ideas which, in turn, dictate the media. Fortunately, I am able to work 2-dimensionally and 3-dimensionally in a wide variety of materials.

I am an artist, healer, clairvoyant and astrologer. This combination of skills and training enables me to see many levels of complexity at once; the aesthetic, emotional, and cyclic natures of life. These I put forth in my creative work.

I am not a conventional artist. I move quickly in both thought and work. I am a pioneer and innovator in whatever I do. Beauty and color heal us. To me this is art.
