Title: 6 mom and Apple Pie

I have done both public and private commissions. My public commissions have included a faƁade work which covered the front of the Museum of Contemporary Crafts in New York City for 4 months and, a wall section for the Canadian National Library in Canada. My private commissions are commemorative pieces that are entirely personal and are designed to be easily saved so that they can be passed on to the next generation. The pieces have been done for weddings, funerals, graduations, family generational events and, surprises. I use the photographs people give me or if you need photos I take them. The format can be a flat wall piece, images printed on fabric, a painted box that would be suitable for a desk or coffee table, a low relief for the wall, a cut and paste collage, a collage composed on the computer using the Photo shop program or, or a sheet of stamps. I perforate the stamps on my antique Southworth cast iron perforator. I ask people to choose the media: My most recent commissions are the music box portraits. The sizes vary - 8 inches and under. You wind them up and it plays a tune while you look at your loved ones.
