| Mail Art is anything that comes through the mail and, is named by the sender as art. It is the most democratic of art movements. Anyone can do it, anyone can become involved, and every product is considered "creative." The very equalitarian nature of it, however, has often caused it to be taken less seriously by social observers and critics particularly in the USA. Mail art receives far more attention in Europe where it follows the Surrealists and Dada traditions of artist publications. My Mail Art title is the Mail Queen. |
