| The 60s was a time of great experimentation, for- me, part of that was exploring new media. In photographic silk screen I worked with a repeated image and then transferred that concept to sheets of stamps. I like that whole sheet as it transforms the image and makes it so much stronger As of Nov. 1 2006 I have produced over 190 sheets of stamps, many of them in a series. My first one was in 1969. Shortly afterward I did the famous Nom de Plume series which are actual photographs. All the rest are mechanical prints done from collage or drawing or digital images originals.. |
