Printing History
In school I didn’t like printmaking. My passions were painting and art history.
My collage work led me to photo silk screen, only it wasn’t taught when I needed it in 1964.
Fortunately, a local company took me under their wing and taught me what I needed to know.
Other medias I learned from a class here or there.
Then my digital training was at the University of California Extension where I teach.
I think this informal background allowed me to push the boundaries in all the print media I have explored.
