Title: Dark Into Light #15 [22" x 30" b&w monoprint]
These are pure dance with my fingers. For a couple of years I would get up early on Sunday mornings and drive across the bay to school. No one was there and the print studio was quiet. I usually began by making 2 or 3 small ones and then I would ink up the 3 plates for a larger one. Working with those wonderful lush blacks was so satisfying. I usually meditate a bit before I would start the designs. A clear head is where I liked to begin.
