Title: Goya Mirror Montage [mirror montage]
Mirror Montages: These are complex works involving layers of photographs, paper, glass, mirrors, cardboard, and wood. . Some of the mirrors are old and decaying, others I drew on, and others I scraped away shapes. They are held together in my elaborately fashioned wooden frames. I began using the mirrors because I wanted people to become involved in the art work by finding themselves in it. They vary in size from 17 inches to 8 inches and 2-3 inches in depth. The dates are all early 60s.
